Cal South adopts APPP
8/1/2023 – Cal South adheres to California AB 506 Mandatory Reporting is covered through SafeSport.
12/3/2019 – California AB 379 approved by Governor on 8/30/2019. The Bill primarily amends the existing law known to the Cal South soccer community as ABÂ 2007, Youth Sports Concussion Prevention Protocols to Youth Sports Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Protocols. Cal South followed up with updated compliance of verifications within the system and informational sheets to parents.
7/30/2019 – Cal South BOD adopts SafeSport and Athlete & Participant Protection Policy into its Risk Management program. All members to be in compliance by 9/1/2019.
