Cal South is proud to announce our “She is the Coach!” Innovate to Grow Grant partially funded by US Soccer.
This grant is targeted to increase the female presence in our local soccer landscape and will run from now until the end of 2024.
BENEFITS
- Free Grassroots coaching licenses for females to take any one of the following licenses: 9v9 In Person License, 11v11 In Person License (500 total available).
- National D License (25 available).

Leaders in the college communities and clubs can reach out to request a coaching license course to come to your campus for free!

Requirements to host a coaching event:
- This form must be submitted at least 30 days prior to your event date.
- Select either:
Option 1: Classroom (2 hours), field (2 hours) , lights (if applicable), bathrooms, first aid kit
Option 2: Field (2 hours) , (2-hour lecture to be conducted via zoom). Lights (if applicable), bathrooms, first aid kit
- Minimum of 15 participant.
- Host at event to provide permit if needed.
- Host must provide one (1) team for the 2-hour field portion.
