NOTES: FINALS – Mon., Jan. 8 – Cal South has one 2024 Far West ODP title on the books already this morning as our G13U squad topped Cal North, 4-2. Our Boys 12U lost against Washington, 4-3. During the 9:20 a.m. match for the G12U championship occurring between both the Blue and White Cal South ODP squads, White slipped past Blue, 2-1.

Washington shut out Cal South, 2-o in the 10:15 a.m. Boys 13U final, and then the Cal South Boys found themselves without a title this year when their B14U squad were also shut out by Washington by the same score. But the olders Girls teams came through in the afternoon as our 16U team topped Colorado, 2-1, and then the 15U team themselves shut out Washington, 3-0 to close out the tournament.

Four titles in seven finals. It’s a nice trophy haul.

NOTES: DAY 3/SEMIS – Sun., Jan. 7 – Cal South had 9 wins, 1 draw, and 4 losses on the day in tier play, and then they won all four semi-final matches this evening in the B12U, B14U, and G12U brackets. Cal South is locked in for seven finals matches tomorrow: Girls 12U, 13U, 15U, and 16U, as well as Boys 12U, Boys 13U, and 14U. In the Girls 12U final, both Cal South teams, Blue and White, will face off against each other for the ODP regional title.

NOTES: DAY 2 – Sat., Jan. 6 – Cal South’s ODP teams collected 12 more wins and one draw against just one loss for Day 2 of action. That is a total of 22 wins, 2 draws, and 4 losses to open this tournament. Incredible start, teams! More tomorrow!
