Join us in welcoming former FIFA & MLS assistant referee Thomas Bobadilla as the lead instructor at our next CORE In-Person training session on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at North High School, Torrance, CA from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The main topic of discussion will be “Assistant Referees in Today’s Game”.

Instructor Bio:
Thomas Bobadilla has held many positions during his officiating career, including many games as an Assistant Referee with FIFA and MLS. He formerly served as a member of the U.S. Soccer Referee Committee and as AYSO’s National Referee Program Administrator. Currently a National Referee Coach, Thomas considers himself a “Friend to the Referees”.

About the CORE Program:
Center of Referee Education (CORE) [formerly known as RPD] is a program established by the Cal South State Referee Committee (SRC) which is open to all USSF-certified referees. At these sessions, top level instructors hold physical fitness, field drills, and classroom sessions.

All Cal South referees are invited to attend any of our CORE In-Person training sessions if they are seeking to fast-track their development and advancement.
