The Cal South Adult State Cup is back again for 2026! This year’s intensely competitive tournament will feature a Men’s Open division where the best adult soccer teams from across California will compete for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize and the title of State Champion!
The tournament will begin on the weekend of January 24-25, 2026 and culminate in a final to be played on the weekend of March 7-8, 2026.
The Cal South Adult Open State Cup is a marvelous opportunity for men’s soccer teams across Southern California to come together and compete over an incredible prize. Register today!
Tournament Dates: January 24/25 – March 7/8, 2026
- Game #1 Weekend: Jan. 24-25 [Locations TBA]
- Game #2 Weekend: Jan. 31-Feb. 1 [Locations TBA]
- Game #3 Weekend: Feb. 7-8 [Locations TBA]
- Alternate Date Weekend: Feb. 14-15 (if competition size increases)
- Quarterfinals: Feb. 21-22 [Locations TBA]
- Semifinals: Feb. 28-Mar. 1 [Locations TBA]
- Finals: Mar. 7 or 8 [Locations TBA]
Tournament Format
Group Stage:
- 8 groups of 4 teams each – 32 teams in total
- Teams are guaranteed one home and one away match in the group stage
- Home team is responsible for providing fields
Knockout Stage:
- Consists of the winners from each of the four groups
- Ties after 90 minutes go straight to penalty kicks
Registration Details
- EARLY BIRD DEADLINE: November 7, 2025
- ENTRY DEADLINE: January 9, 2026
- PRIZE MONEY: Men’s Open Champion – $10,000
- Eligibility: Clubs who participated in a Sanctioned League in 2025
- Early Bird Entry Rate: $550 per team + 3% processing fee
- Regular Entry Rate: $675 per team + 3% processing fee
- Player Registration Fee: $10/player registration + 3% processing fee
- Note: If player already registered with USASA, no player registration fee will be added
