Anaheim, CA (Sunday, January 12, 2025) – Just a quick notice early this morning that three events planned and scheduled by Cal South and its partners to take place today have either had to be cancelled or postponed due to the situations surrounding the ongoing firefight in the Los Angeles area and surrounding towns.

1. 5v5 Soccer, our partners in creating the new series of Cal South 5v5 Tournaments to be held throughout the year, have announced that their tourney set for today (Sunday, Jan 12th) in Carson, CA has been postponed until another weekend can be worked out that satisfies all parties. Registered participants may seek to wait for the rescheduled date to continue their participation, or opt for a refund of their registration fees. More info to be released soon.

2. The 2025 New Referee Preparation Training Course to be held in Tustin this morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon has been cancelled. Those who had pre-registered for the course have been emailed.

3. The 2025 Referee Fitness Test to be held in Irvine today, also from 9:00 to 12:00 noon has also been cancelled and all pre-registered informed by email.
