FULLERTON, CA (Tuesday, October 10, 2023) – This communication serves as the official Notice of Elections regarding the open nomination period for two (2) positions on the 2024 Cal South Board of Directors.
The nomination period opens on October 20, 2023 and closes on November 29, 2023.

Cal South 2024 Nomination & Election Calendar
Board Position Nomination Period:
Friday, October 20, 2023 through Wednesday, November 29, 2023– Closes at 5:00 PM PST
Nominations come through the affiliates and each Cal South Director.
Record Date:
Sunday, October 29, 2023– Closes at 5:00 PM PST
The Record Date is the date on which the affiliate must be “in good standing” with Cal South to be eligible to vote.
Credential Procedure:
Monday, November 13, 2023– Closes at 5:00 PM PST
This is the date on which all of the nominees are interviewed by the Nominations & Elections Committee (NEC).
Balloting Date:
Thursday, December 28, 2023 – Closes at 5:00 PM PST
This is when affiliates may vote. ONLY the president of each affiliate may vote for the affiliate.
Election Date:
Thursday, January 18, 2024– Closes at 5:00 PM PST
This is the date the election ends.
Election Results:
Election results will be announced on Thursday, January 18, 2024, approx. 5:30 PM PST
The BOD will receive an email. They will then notify the nominees of their win or loss status. Cal South may then send out a quick blast of congratulations following the nominees’ notifications.
All election voting will take place solely through electronic balloting, with ballots being sent directly to all active and credentialed voting members. More information will be sent to all Cal South members in good standing closer to the actual election date.
