Salt Lake City, UT (UPDATE Thursday, June 20, 2024) – Cal South’s Boys 15U Crusaders FC won a regional title on Tuesday, June 18 at the 2024 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup. The event was held at the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC) in Salt Lake City, Utah from June 14-18.
Four of our original eleven teams entered in the Far West Presidents Cup won berths for the Finals round after Monday’s semifinals round. Crusaders FC was the only one of the four who took their Finals match, defeating Real Colorado, 2-1 to walk off with the Boys 15U regional title. (See scoreboard below…)
Cal South’s lone champion and two other finalists in Tuesday’s matches in the 13U to 17U age groups – Girls 15U La Quinta FC and Boys 13U Unico FC Black – will next move forward to the 2024 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, which will take place from July 12-16 in Wichita, Kansas.
Three days of bracket play lead off the event through the weekend, with the semifinals round on Monday, June 17th, and the finals round on Tuesday, June 18th.
This year the following teams advance to the National Presidents Cup:
– 13U-17U: BOTH CHAMPION & FINALIST
– 18/19U: CHAMPION ONLY

Also competing at the Regional Athletic Complex are four Cal South 12U teams – two girls’ teams and two boys’ teams – attempting to capture a 2024 US Youth Soccer National Championship Series Far West Regional title, in a separate competition from Presidents Cup. (This is the top honor for this age group. They do not continue to Nationals.)
The remainder of the US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals – for the 13U to 19U age groups – will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii starting next Friday from June 21-27, 2024.
