Dear Members of Cal South,
I am honored and privileged to be elected as Cal South’s new Chair. As a lifelong soccer player, coach, journalist, and broadcaster, I understand the immense value that soccer brings to our communities and to the lives of our youth and adult players.
I believe that Cal South Soccer has a tremendous responsibility to foster the development of our athletes, while also promoting the sport and creating a safe and positive environment for all participants. I am committed to upholding this responsibility and serving our organization with integrity, transparency, and respect.
In the coming months and years, I look forward to working closely with our board members, coaches, volunteers, parents, and players to ensure that Cal South continues to thrive and grow. I will be focusing on the following key areas:
- Strengthening our commitment to player safety and well-being
- Enhancing the quality of our coaching and training programs
- Expanding access to soccer for all communities and populations
- Fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and sportsmanship
I am excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for Cal South. Together, I am confident that we can achieve great things and positively impact the lives of our athletes and our communities.
