Boise, ID (Friday, June 13, 2025) – Cal South has a dozen teams competing in Boise, Idaho this morning at the 2025 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup. The event is being held at the Simplot Sports Complex from June 13-18, 2025.
Cal South’s teams earned their berths in this weekend’s competition via their play in the 2025 Cal South State Cup tournament.
Three days of bracket play lead off the event through the weekend, with the semifinals round on Monday, June 16th, and the finals round on Tuesday, June 17th.
Teams are competing for a chance to move forward to the 2025 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, which will take place from July 11-15 in Tampa Bay, Florida.
This year the following teams advance to the National Presidents Cup:
– 13U-17U: BOTH CHAMPION & FINALIST
– 18/19U: CHAMPION ONLY

Also competing this weekend at the Simplot Sports Complex is one boys’ team from Cal South – B12U Juventus Academy LA – attempting to capture a 2025 US Youth Soccer National Championship Series Far West Regional title, in a separate competition from Presidents Cup. (This is the top honor for this age group. They do not continue to Nationals.)
The remainder of the 2025 US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals – for the 13U to 19U age groups – will take place starting next Friday from June 20-25, 2025, also to be held at the Simplot Sports Complex in Boise, ID.
