(Friday, Feb. 23, 2024) – The Quarterfinals and Semifinals of the 2024 Cal South Adult Open State Cup competition will be held this weekend, Feb. 24-25, at the Lake Forest Sports Park, located at 28000 Vista Terrace in Lake Forest, California.
The premier event for men’s adult soccer teams in Southern California, the Open State Cup competition is presented this year by the UPSL in conjunction with Cal South.
The Quarterfinals will be contested on Saturday, February 24, and the Semifinals on Sunday, February 25. You can see team matchups and times in the chart below if you are interested in attending any of the games…
This weekend’s playoffs follows three weekends of opening play, in which participating teams were assembled in eight groups of three teams. Each team played two games and then the top points winner in each group reached the Quarterfinals. The draw to determine positioning in the Quarterfinals was held on Tuesday night, Feb. 20.
Championship Soccer Stadium at OC Great Park in Irvine, California has been secured to host the final match of the 2024 Cal South Adult Open State Cup competition on March 10.
This year’s championship team at the Cal South Adult Open State Cup will win a grand prize of $10,000 total.
