Approved Registered Officials List

Individuals who have had their referee licenses approved will appear on the U.S. Soccer Federation Registered (USSF) Officials List below. This means they have completed all USSF requirements for that particular license, are considered “risk-managed” by the California Department of Justice, and have had their current SafeSport training verified. The list is updated twice a week.

A referee will have their license suspended if they fail to have their current SafeSport training verified after it expires annually. If a referee turns 18, they must complete Cal South LiveScan and SafeSport training or they will be removed from the list. Referees removed from the Registered Officials List may be due to risk management updates.

Only referees appearing on the current Registered Officials List are approved to be assigned U.S. Soccer-affiliated matches. Those not appearing on the list are not allowed to be assigned or referee any matches affiliated with U.S. Soccer. Disclaimer: Referees that have been notified that they are no longer in “good standing” are not to referee after the time of notice.
