San Bernardino, Calif. (Wednesday, April 10, 2024) – Nine more Cal South State Cup and Cal South National Cup champions were crowned for 2024 this past weekend, April 6-7, 2024 at the San Bernardino Soccer Complex.
With remaining semifinal matches contested on Saturday, all nine championship finals were held on Sunday, April 7th. Four champions were decided on the Girls side of the Cal South State Cup Presidents Division Olders competition: 2009/15U La Quinta FC, 2008/16U Albion SC Central Cal, 2007/17U MUFC, and 2006/2005 18U/19U Downey FC.
Five National Cup Olders champions were also crowned on Sunday. On the Boys side, Nexaca USA took the 2009/15U trophy; for the Girls, the winners were 2009/15U Coastal Valley SC Surf, 2008/16U Eagles SC, 2007/17U Drako FC, and 2005 19U Apple Valley SC Storm.
The remaining seven finals for the 2024 Cal South State Cup Presidents Division Olders and the 2024 Cal South National Cup Olders competitions will be contested next weekend, April 13-14 at Valley High School in Santa Ana. All games are scheduled to be streamed live on LA Sports Today.
