Temecula, Calif. (Tuesday, March 26, 2024) – The final two Cal South State Cup Governors Division champions were crowned this past weekend, March 23-24, 2024 at the Galway Downs Soccer Complex in Temecula.
On Saturday, California United FC topped FC Deportivo Norwalk Toritos, 5-1, to claim the Boys 2008/16U trophy. Governors Division Olders action concluded for this year on Sunday with Crusaders FC taking the Boys 2009/15U title in a 2-2 game against GVFC Leones, which was decided by penalty kicks, 3-0.
Play also continued at Galway Downs over the weekend in the 2024 Cal South State Cup Presidents Division Olders and the 2024 Cal South National Cup Olders competitions. Play will shift back over to the San Bernardino Soccer Complex for the weekend of April 6-7, 2024.
