Celebrating Heather Lake — Difference Maker Award Winner
Recognizing Jen Zepeda's dedication as a Girls' U9 coach with Central Coast United and her positive impact on every player she works with.
Cal South and Valvoline Instant Oil Change are proud to announce this month's Difference Maker award recipient, Heather Lake.
Heather Lake is a Registrar for the Orange Junior Soccer Club (OJSC). Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors as Secretary with responsibilities that include recruiting new coaches, producing league schedules, purchasing uniforms, setting up player, coaches and referee clinics, coordinating Picture Day and much more.
OJSC has an exceptional recreational program and Heather is the league contact for the InterCity League. She has been involved with OJSC since 2007 and has been instrumental in establishing and growing the program for almost 20 years. Heather always has a positive attitude and is always helping in anyway she can. She is the proud mother of 2 children, a boy and a girl. Both her children grew up in and played in the OJSC system. Her daughter went on to attend and play soccer at Cal State Bakersfield. Ms Lake is nowhere near giving up her involvement any time soon and looks forward to serving her soccer community as best she can and for as long as she can.
On behalf of Cal South and Valvoline Instant Oil Change, congratulations Heather. Keep up the good work!
