Cal South and Valvoline Instant Oil Change are proud to announce this month's Difference Maker award recipient, Jen Zepeda. Jen is currently coaching a Girls' U9 team with Central Coast United and is entering her second season of coaching club soccer.

Jen brings a wealth of soccer knowledge and experience, having played at elite club levels before earning a scholarship to play Division I soccer for the Oregon Beavers.

With her extensive playing experience and knowledge of the game, Jen has provided an excellent foundation in the basic fundamentals of soccer for the young players she works with. Over the past year, her dedication and passion for the game continue to make a tremendous positive impact on every player she works with. Their growth and development have been evident both on and off the field, reflected not only in their technical abilities but also in their understanding of the game, growing confidence, leadership, and overall development as an individual.

Her passion for soccer is reflected in each player on her team. Her ability to teach the game while creating a positive and encouraging environment has allowed these young female players to develop a strong foundation that they can continue to build upon.

On behalf of VIOC and Cal South, congratulations Jen. Keep up the good work!
