Cal South Names Jeff Dyrek as New Chief Executive Officer

Anaheim, CA (May 21, 2024) – After a prolonged search, Cal South Soccer (California State Soccer Association – South) officially announced today the naming of Jeff Dyrek as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Dyrek steps into the role after over twenty years of experience in the sports management field, including fifteen years working within sports governance, mostly for National Governing Bodies. These include a stint with USA Triathlon as their National Events Director; as the Director of Marketing for USA Water Polo; and as the Chief Executive Officer for USA Badminton. Dyrek’s new role serves as a homecoming for him to Cal South, as he previously served over a decade ago as their Director of Tournaments and Competition.
