Orlando, FL (Thursday, January 25, 2024) – Highly talented players from Cal South’s Pro+ Olympic Development Program (ODP) training pools were selected to attend the pair of US Youth Soccer ODP Interregional events this month. In all, 33 Cal South players were selected for their West region teams in 13 different age/gender groups.

Fourteen Cal South girls were selected to take part in last week’s 2024 USYS Girls’ ODP Interregional event, which occurred January 18-22 in Orlando, Florida.

Nineteen Cal South boys were selected for the 2024 USYS Boy’s ODP Interregional, currently taking place right now in Orlando, January 24-28.

Players compete on their respective West region teams against teams from the other three regional areas – South, North, and East – within their own age and gender bracket. These events are often attended by top scouts from colleges and soccer programs across the world, giving players another chance to be identified.
