Anaheim, CA (Monday, Oct. 20, 2025) – Cal South would like its full membership to be aware of the upcoming timeline of important dates pertaining to the Cal South Board Member Election process for 2026.
The open period for nominating potential board candidates begins today – Monday, October 20, 2025 – and closes a month later on Thursday, November 20.
There are three (3) open Board positions. The terms of the elected positions will be for three (3) years in accordance with the Bylaws.
To facilitate an improved election process, Cal South has retained The Inspectors of Election (TIE), a national provider of election services for associations.
TIE will be sending an email notice out today – Monday, October 20, 2025 – to all Cal South Affiliate Member League and Club presidents/directors with the proper links, information regarding the Board position process.

2026 Cal South Board Election Calendar
- NOW: October 20 through November 20, 2025 – Potential Board Candidates Open Nomination Period
- November 20, 2025 – Candidate Open Nomination Period closes
- November 22 through December 9, 2025 – Board Candidate Nominee Credentialing Period (10-12 business days to complete)
- December 16, 2025 through January 16, 2026 – Open Balloting Period
- January 16, 2026 – Election results received (5pm-6:30pm) and announced to membership.

2026 Cal South Annual General Meeting Calendar
Additionally, this announcement serves as a reminder that the 2025 Cal South Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to be held as a virtual/online meeting on December 15, 2025.

- August 20, 2025 – Cal South Annual General Meeting announced
- August 20, 2025 – Amendment Proposal Submission period opened with Cal South By-Laws, Cal South Rules & Regulations, and Cal South Articles of Incorporation under consideration
- September 30, 2025 – Amendment Proposal Submission period closed
- NEXT: October 31, 2025 – Affiliate Members will be asked to review accepted Amendment Proposals in preparation for voting at 2025 AGM
- November 18, 2025 – Record Date, whereupon any Affiliate Member wishing to vote at the AGM must have been found to be “in good standing”
- December 1, 2025 – Reminder to Affiliate Members regarding the 2025 Cal South AGM
- December 13, 2025 – Email with 2025 Cal South AGM Zoom meeting link to be sent to Affiliate Members
- December 15, 2025 – Cal South Annual General Meeting [online/virtual]
