On May 4-5, 2024, Soccer de Mayo will come alive at the SilverLakes Sports Complex in Norco with the sounds of cheering fans, pounding feet, and the thrilling clash of soccer players battling it out on the pitch! 

Our family-friendly event celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Cinco de Mayo through the beautiful game of soccer. After a terrific tournament last year, Soccer de Mayo’s third edition promises to be bigger and better than ever! This includes an appearance by Spanish language radio legend Humberto Luna!

Registration is open now for Cal South affiliated teams and also for teams who are not affiliated with Cal South. Handy checklists are available to help all teams with the registration process.

Special Guest: Humberto Luna

A native of Zacatecas, Mexico, Humberto Luna is a true legend in Spanish language radio, having entertained listeners in Southern California for many years. In 1990, Humberto became the first Hispanic entertainer to receive a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, and through the years has received many awards from a variety of civic and community organizations.

He was named “One of the 100 Major Hispanics Influencers in America” by Hispanic Business Magazine. In addition to his radio work, Humberto has appeared in 25 motion pictures, and hosted “Hablemos de Cine” on Univision TV Network, “La Hora Lunática” on Telemundo TV, and  “A Todo Color” on Azteca America L.A.
