Cal South Teams Can Receive a FREE sideline Camera from Trace
Every Cal South member team is eligible for a free Trace camera, with a launch promotion on the filmer's subscription.
Anaheim, CA (October 27, 2026): The California State Soccer Association – South (Cal South) is excited to welcome Trace as its new Official Video Partner.
Trace, established in 2011, is revolutionizing the use of video by leveraging AI technology to seamlessly identify, follow, and spotlight each player on the field, automatically delivering a personalized playlist of individual highlights for every player after each game.
Trace captures the game the way parents want to watch it, focused on their kid, and the way coaches want to study it, focused on the whole team. Each camera automatically zooms in to follow the play, delivering both individual highlights and full-game film.
Through the partnership, every team competing under Cal South is eligible for a free Trace camera, bringing automated highlight film to clubs and leagues across Southern California.
"We’re excited to partner with Trace to bring innovative technology and new opportunities to the Cal South soccer community. This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting players, coaches, and clubs with tools that enhance player development, elevate performance, and help more athletes reach their full potential. By combining Cal South’s deep roots in the game with Trace’s cutting-edge technology, we’re taking another important step toward shaping the future of soccer in Southern California.."
Jeff Dyrek, Chief Executive Officer, Cal South
"Cal South covers a huge, competitive stretch of Southern California, and every team in it deserves the same chance to record, rewatch, and share its season. Automated video means more film and more chances to improve and get seen, no matter where a team plays. We're proud to put a free camera on the sideline of every Cal South team."
