The Cal South Adult Open State Cup, co-hosted by the UPSL, is excited to announce its return for 2024! This year’s tournament will feature the best adult soccer teams from across California, competing for a chance to win $10,000 and the title of State Champion.
The tournament will be held in the month of February with the final to be played at the OC Great Park Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine on March 2nd. Teams can register now at this website.

- Tournament Dates: February 10 – March 2, 2024
- Entry Deadline: Friday, January 5, 2024
- Prize Money: Men’s Open Champion – $10,000
- Eligibility: Clubs participating in a Sanctioned League in 2023
- Games: Teams are guaranteed one home and one away match in the group stage
- Entry Fee: $500 per team
- $10/player registration for non-UPSL Teams
- UPSL players to use their 2024 UPSL registration
- Referees paid by teams up to and including the quarterfinals

About the UPSL
The UPSL was formed in 2011 and occupies the unofficial fourth tier of US Soccer. Across its Premier, Division 1, Women and Academy divisions there are more than 500 teams competing nationwide. The UPSL is the largest Pro Development League in North America and is a National Affiliate member of the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF). Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated.
