Three Cal South players have been called up to the U.S. Under-16 Girls National Team led by head coach Kacey White. The youth national team is scheduled to make its first international trip of the year, travelling to Belgium from May 6-17 for four-team competition that will feature the host country, Croatia and Switzerland.
Arsenal FC’s Kayla Colbert and Isabel Loza, along with So Cal Blues’s Trinity Rodman will be joining the 20-player roster. The three Cal South players, along with their youth national team teammates, are age-eligible for the 2018 U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Team USA will face Croatia on May 12, followed by a matchup with Belgium on May 14, and will close activity against Switzerland on May 16. All games will be in Tubize, Belgium.
