After battling it out to reach the top two in the Cal South Adult State Cup Women’s Division, Sol SC and L.A. Villa FC are set to play in the final championship match on Saturday, April 29 at 5:00PM at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara.

With three of the top three Women’s teams in Southern California fighting for the coveted championship, the journey began with L.A. Villa FC defeating the Aztecs Legends 6-0 on April 19 at Salesian High School. Four days later, Sol SC would come out of the match with a victory against the Legends, this time a 5-1 win for the Santa Barbara-based club.

This Sunday, Sol and L.A. Villa will not only be playing to lift the championship trophy, but also for the cash prizes. The champion will be taking home the Cal South Adult State Cup Women’s Division trophy and $3,000; the finalist will win $2,000, while Aztecs Legends are already set with a $1,000 consolation prize.
