Presidio San Diego will host its 2nd Annual TOPSoccer Festival on Saturday, June 2 at Westview High School in San Diego. There is no charge for athletes with disabilities to join, and volunteers are welcome.
Athletes with disabilities looking for alternative ways to play the world’s game of soccer can do so at this month’s TOPSoccer Fest. Players interested in participating are encouraged to bring comfortable running shoes, shin guards and soccer socks over their shin guards, as well as plenty of drinking water.
The event will kick off at 8:00 am with Buddy Training for those looking to be first-time TOPSoccer volunteers. At 10:00 am, the event will begin with the traditional group photo, and from then on, a non-stop day filled with fun soccer activities, as well as other activities. The festival will include appearances from the San Diego SeaLions, San Diego Sockers, and Tijuana Xolos. A silent auction will take place at 9:00 am on the field.
