Nine Cal South Referees are heading to US Youth Soccer’s National Championships that will take place from July 25-30 in Frisco, Texas. Cal South leads nationwide with the most referees, representing Southern California with nine out of 96; 12 local clubs will also be traveling to Texas, the most of any association.
The selection process for referees for the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series is based on performance throughout the Series. Just as the teams advance from the state to the regional to the national level, so do the referees.
