The 2019 US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals continued onto day two, and the 43 California teams continued action at the Simplot Sports Complex in Boise, Idaho. Upon the conclusion of the second day of action, Cal South and California Regional League – North Division teams finished with an overall 26-6-11 (W-L-T) record.
Teams who had suffered a loss on the first day of action were able to recover on day two of group play. National Champions Rebels SC (18UG) came back into the tournament with a 5-0 win over Nevada’s Quakes while Boys 13U team Central Coast Condors who fell 6-1 on day one bounced back and reversed the score in their favor against Alaska’s Chugiak SC. Both Rebels SC and the Condors are in a position to move on to the next phase of the tournament should they win the last game of bracket phase on Wednesday.
