The Cal South Board of Directors has appointed Victor Esparza as District 3 Commissioner. The position was previously occupied by Susan Abadie, but became vacant when she announced her resignation in February of this year. The appointment is effective immediately.
Victor Esparza has lived in the City of Orange for over 32 years with his wife and three sons. Professionally, he is a Real Estate agent in the Orange County area. He worked for a Fortune 200 Company, Shaw Industries, which was later purchased by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway. While working for Shaw Industries he received the President’s Award for top sales volume & profit margins.
Victor has coached competitive and recreational soccer in Orange for 7 years. He was a member of the Orange Junior Soccer Club’s Board of Directors serving in multiple capacities and is the Varsity Head coach at Orange High School. He has also contributed as an instructor and scout in Cal South’s Coaching Education and PRO+ ODP programs respectively and was an original instructor in the Teach The Teacher licensing curriculum for recreational and competitive coaches.
