Cal South’s Affiliate Members are composed of different types of organizations. Due to the different application requirements for each organization, it is imperative that you know the type of organization you wish to sanction before you submit the New Affiliate Member Application. For further guidance, please see the list of organization types below:

- Club (Youth or Adult) – A group formed for the basis of registering and training Youth and/or Adult Players and Teams that operate through a common administrative group.
- Competitive League – A Youth League formed for the basis of providing play between member Clubs under a common set of administrative and competitive rules.
- Recreational League – A Youth League administered at the local level that emphasizes mass participation and Player Registration, and employs a system of rostering Players for the purpose of creating a fair and balanced distribution of playing talent among all participating Teams, and where each Player plays at least one-half (1/2) of each game except for reasons of injury, illness or discipline.
FINAL APPLICATION PROCESSING:
The final approval process starts as soon as all of the required information is received by Staff. Applicants must submit the following information as required on the Cal South Affiliate Sanctioning form:
(Prospective Non-profit (501c3) Affiliates):
- $200.00 Non-Refundable Setup Application Fee.
- Rules & Regulations (including the Parent Fee Refund Policy)
- Active incorporation status with the State of California (CA Secretary of State) as a public benefit non-profit corporation.
- Active IRS 501(c)3 Tax Exemption status (US Department of the Treasury)
- Board of Director’s Contact List
- 4 or more teams
- A list of fields, their primary contact information, and field contracts
- Have a designated person who will be the Registrar that spends several hours entering players & Admins into the system.
(Prospective Special Members (LLC or non-registered organizations):
- $200.00 Non-Refundable Setup Application Fee
- Rules and Regulations (including the Parent Fee Refund Policy)
- Board of Director’s Contact List
- 4 or more Teams
- A list of fields, their primary contact information, and field contracts
- Have a designated person who will be the Registrar that spends several hours entering players & Admins into the system.
The 2025-2026 Annual Affiliate Member Renewal Application is now available. Members will be able to access the application by using their current Cal South login credentials.
Access to the Cal South Registration System is dependent upon meeting all Affiliate Member Application requirements. Sanctioning for Youth, Adult and prospective new Affiliate Members have different requirements, so please choose the correct sections below.
FEES:
- $100.00 Renewal Application Fee
- $200.00 New League (Non-Refundable) Have the Following Documents Digitized, and/or Scanned and Ready to be Uploaded:
- Bylaws
- Rules and Regulations
- Active Secretary of State Status (For Non-Profit Organizations)
- Updated Organization Contact List
- Lastly, be Prepared to Pay With Your Credit/Debit Card. Applications will not be Considered Unless the Application Fee is Paid.
RETURNING MEMBER SANCTIONING (RENEWALS):
Leagues/Clubs that change by using a different non-profit organization number and subsequently use a different name must complete the “New Member Sanctioning” process outlined below as a new affiliate member. Any and all prior outstanding financial obligations due to Cal South must be paid in full or have an approved “Settlement Agreement” in place with Cal South prior to a renewal application being processed. The returning League/Club must be “In Good Standing” with Cal South. Once all requirements are met the application will be submitted for review and initial processing. Please allow up to 14 days for the application to be reviewed. Applications will be reviewed and processed on a first come, first served basis.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Payment of Member Renewal Application fees. Complete Member Renewal Application. The Affiliate Club/League President must acknowledge on the online application that all of the items submitted are accurate, current and up to date. All application information must be current and accurate. Any application information found to be inaccurate or missing required information, will not be processed, will be delayed, or may be cause for denial.
YOUTH AFFILIATE MEMBERS CAN NOW REGISTER ADULT PLAYERS
To facilitate continued involvement and participation for youth players making the transition into adult age groups and programs, Cal South youth affiliate members in Good Standing may now register youth players making their transition into adult age groups without going through the adult affiliation process. Standard adult registration fees apply.
While this allows youth affiliates to continue registering youth players as adults, it does not afford youth affiliates representation in the adult council or as a Cal South Adult affiliate member.
Youth affiliates wishing to be sanctioned or recognized as Adult affiliate members must complete the application process to be considered for this status separately.

- Copy of the most current operating procedures for your league (i.e.: Constitution, Bylaws, General Rules).
- Must submit proof of current good standing with the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) in regards to your league’s 501(c) (3) status.
